So that you don’t lose track of all the upcoming releases of VR games, VR movies &apps, we will show you the roadmap for the coming months in an intuitive tool. You can filter to your heart’s content, for example by genres or your preferred VR platform. You can find a VR glasses comparison here.
There will be final release dates only for the respective platform. This means that some of the games may already be available on other platforms or in early access.
Note: Most titles that appear for “SteamVR” and “Oculus Rift(S)” are usually usable with Meta Quest(2) (formerly Oculus Quest) + Link. All information can be found in our Oculus Link Info guide.

Which VR games should you make a special note of in 2022?
The second book about the wonderful adventure Moss was announced last year. Moss: Book II promises more adventures around protagonist Quill. And really: our Moss 2 test shows that Quill has enchanted us again.
With Cities: VR, an offshoot of the successful construction simulation Cities: Skylines came exclusively to Quest 2. However, the hope of great immersion in a great diorama world was brutally crushed: Our Cities: VR test shows that this is just a simple port at the expense of graphics and without any meaningful VR operation.
All hopes now rest on the natively developed for Quest 2 Little Cities (Preview).
Grand Theft Auto may find its way to Quest 2 this year: GTA: San Andreas was announced for Quest 2 at Facebook Connect 2021. There is no release date or trailer yet. We keep our fingers crossed that it will not be such a failure as the remaster versions of the Definitive Editions from last year.
The first VR game for Sony’s new VR glasses, Playstation VR 2, is an offshoot of the action-adventure Horizon Zero Dawn. Horizon Call of the Mountain will be a VR spin-off. However, the end of the game will not slip into the skin of heroine Aloy, but she should appear in the game.
