For this Christmas Eve, the creators of Asunder: Earthbound and Trials of the Rift Drifter, have prepared a technological demo in Unity 5 with a Christmas theme in which they show the effects of changes in perspective and scale.
The demo takes place in an idyllic living room in which the tree, the gifts, and some puppies that move around the room could not be missing. Living Room VR is made in Unity 5 with the SDK 0.4.4 and works very well even on modest computers, in fact its creators guarantee 75 fps on R9 200 and nVidia 770 graphics.
We can adjust the scale and the perspective of the camera to feel like a tiny fly or a gigantic being, in addition to changing the speed of time, but beware that it is easy to get dizzy if we overdo it. It is also possible to insert our own audio tracks (it accepts OGG and WAV files in the /Music folder) to create the environment that we like the most. You can download it here and surprise your family on a special night like this.
