We have excellent news from the Spanish startup VRelia, recently merged with ImmersiOn. The ImmersiON-VRelia GO mobile viewer is premiering today at NASA, to commemorate the 75th anniversary of the North American space agency before an expected audience of about 120,000 people. The models used are pre-production, and we will have more news about mass manufacturing and distribution soon, as the device will be available by the end of the year.
The event takes place today, at the NASA Ames Research Center at Moffett Field between 9 and 15 hours there. The exhibition will take place in building 17 of the NASA Research Park, in case there are any lucky ones who can attend it. The experience, developed by ImmersiON-VRelia, allows you to explore outer space in virtual reality thanks to the VReye Go and Samsung Galaxy Note 3, Galaxy S5 and LG G3 smartphones.
When the commercial launch of ImmersiON-VRelia GO takes place at the end of the year, this experience will be available to all its buyers through The AlterSpace platform, an exclusive cloud content platform that is being developed by ImmersiOn-VRelia. We will expand this information as soon as possible.
