Kia is a beloved brand in Mexico, because it usually offers good performance at good prices. A few months ago, we found out that the manufacturer will bring its first electric model to the country, the Kia EV6 SUV, and today we finally received confirmation of its variants and prices.
Which models of the Kia EV6 will arrive in Mexico?
According to the official minisite, the Kia EV6 will arrive in 2 versions, GT Line and GT, which by the way are the most powerful models that the company has manufactured so far. Both include 2 electric motors (AWD traction) and a 77.4 kWh battery, but the rest of their specifications are slightly different.
Exterior of the Kia EV6
On the one hand, the EV6 GT Line has a power of 239 kW (320 horsepower) and a torque of 446 lb-ft, which translates into a range of 506 km.
On the other hand, the EV6 GT is more powerful, as it has a power of 430 kW (576 horsepower) and a torque of 545 lb-ft. It should be taken into account that this slightly impacts the autonomy, which in this case is only 424 km.
The interior of the Kia EV6
Each model has its variants, which at a higher price is adding 19 or 21″ wheels, LED lighting, ambient lighting, heated steering wheel wireless charger, control screen, 7 airbags and advanced driver assistance systems, such as cruise control. In addition, the EV6 GT also incorporates heated rear seats, suede inserts, an audio system with 14 speakers and a peripheral camera, but only includes 6 airbags.
