The creators of the Wearality Kickstarter campaign, the glasses with 150º FOV, have made a very interesting announcement that will allow us to use their spectacular lenses in other visors.
After much deliberation, two decisions have been made: on the one hand, access to the 3D model of the frame will be facilitated, so that it will be easier to hack (that’s how they define it) the lenses on other devices. And on the other hand, two new tiers have been added to the campaign called STARTER MOD KIT for $ 49 and STARTER MOD KIT (10 PACK) for $ 449 with which they provide us with a pair or ten pairs of lenses to use wherever we want. These lens kits will be shipped in the month of August.
The campaign continues to make slow progress towards its final goal of $100,000, having currently exceeded $87,500, so we don’t think there will be any problems reaching its goal. For sure, many creators of homemade glasses are already rubbing their hands.
