The film festival culminated its first edition after celebrating the awards ceremony this Saturday, with the works Ánima, Wasteland and Good Trip being the winners of the night.
This Saturday, January 14 at 18:30 the festival started in Rivas Vaciamadrid Cinema 360 Contest which was attended by more than 400 people, among whom were the representatives of the works presented who came from different places in Spain. The awards ceremony was preceded by other activities such as viewings and master classes on virtual reality. All this is the result of a private initiative promoted by I+D Films together with more than 20 sponsoring companies such as the local Council in charge of facilitating the La Casa + Grande center, or Espacio 4 FM, in charge of the light and sound show.
The gala was presented by comedian and showman Moi Camacho, announcing the winners of each of the award categories. According to the organization, the festival has been a great success. A task that has taken many weeks of selfless work by the entire team and collaborators in order to make it so.
Ánima, a 360º series created by TransReal 360, has received the award for best national short film. Duna Santos, protagonist of Ánima, has been the winner of the best actress award. The local work Good Trip has been chosen as the best local short film, and its protagonist David Beliën, the best actor. Wasteland, by Alberto Navarro Puerma, collected two awards, one for the best 360º experience and the other for the best director. The company Visyon was another of those that received two awards, the first for the best environment with ‘The Sea’, and the second for the best application with Telepport.
Cinema 360 Contest had a jury made up of professionals and visionaries of different technologies that did not have an easy decision, being quite close due to the high quality of the works. You can find the full list of the winners on their website.
