The Jobs Service.ru conducted a study in September and found out whether the Russian companies to the introduction of new restrictive measures due to the coronavirus. The survey polled more than 1,000 employers
from all regions of the country.
23% of Russian business representatives said that their companies are ready to repetition of the quarantine and of the company’s budget is enough for the rent and pay salaries to employees. 38% of respondents
noted that to support the business they will have to downsize the company and cut staff salaries. 39% of companies answered that their business is unlikely to survive the second wave and re-lockdown.
The repetition of the lockdown and the new restrictive measures will require new support measures for business. 72% of Russian companies have not yet been able to fully recover. The second wave of coronavirus and
restrictions for many will be a matter of survival.
For many companies in the period of past restrictions and lockdown of the best anti-crisis measure was the transfer of employees to remote mode. 57% of the interviewed representatives of Russian enterprises
then fully or partially transferred staff to udalenku. 25% of respondents indicated that it had suspended the activities of the company, and 18% continued to work offline.
Among the companies that have transferred employees to udalenku during the first lockdown at the moment to work remotely continue 8% of respondents. 28% of respondents noted that some of their
employees are also working remotely. 15% of respondents indicated that their company alternates to work from the office to home. While 49% of enterprises fully returned to the state in the normal operation of the office.
Among the companies that called the remote mode of operation is inconvenient, 69% of respondents (multiple choice) business representatives noted that they have no ability to shift production to
remote format. 27% of the respondents indicated that the effectiveness of employees on remote is greatly reduced. 18% of representatives of Russian companies said that they have no opportunity
to equip workplaces of employees on remote, while 17% noted that offline mode is much faster operational issues are being resolved.
