WHQL drivers version 398.82 released last week could resolve certain frame loss issues in VR applications.

Many owners of NVIDIA graphics cards and virtual reality devices have been experiencing problems for months updating to the latest versions of the graphics card drivers, which is why a significant group of users have decided to stick to older versions of the driver that did not suffer from this problem, even versions of 2017. As always, the subject of drivers is quite delicate and depends largely on the configuration of each user, since there are those who say that everything works perfectly after each new version and others who install the latest driver and end up returning to an old version that, in their case, gives them better results in virtual reality.

Well, once again it is time to try and experiment, and is that with the release of the GeForce Game Ready 398.82 drivers released last week, NVIDIA claims to have solved a problem that caused loss of frames. The most curious thing is that it is not discussed in the release notes of the web, nor in the detailed PDF that NVIDIA always publishes with each new version of the driver. It has been in the NVIDIA forums about performance issues with Oculus Rift where Manuel Guzmán, QA Software of the company, confirms that in this version that problem has been solved. And as with every new release, we expect to hear all sorts of results as users decide to give this new driver a try. How was your experience with these new controllers?
