Some images have been found in the SteamVR folders that could be a clue about some of the games that will be compatible with SteamVR and HTC Vive, among which we find the odd surprise (pleasant, it must be said).

This list does not assume anything definitive, but if it is in the Steam VR archives it must be for something. It seems that the launch of HTC Vive will be accompanied by a good handful of titles, and we are especially pleased to see Alien: Isolation there, which we feared could be parked, anchored to the old Oculus SDK 0.3 and, therefore, limited to the DK2. Can you imagine using our hands to use the tools of the game that allow us to open doors and so on? Of course, we want to add, in case someone is not clear, that Oculus Rift also works under Steam VR, so they would all work also on the CV1 and even the current DK2, unless one of them requires using the Valve controls and does not work with a normal controller. Undoubtedly, the best news is that the first commercial virtual reality devices are going to come very well accompanied as far as software is concerned. There’s less left!
