David Wehle is looking for support in Greenlight for his new title that he is developing in Unity. A small exploration game in the style of Dear Esther and that will have support for Oculus Rift. The game will have a reduced price and will be available in early summer.

“I remember waiting at the end of my street… waiting for the bus I had already missed. I guess I didn’t want to get back into my camper. At that age I didn’t know what a home was, but I didn’t care… home found me that morning.”

So begins the story of Home is Where One Starts, a touching tale about childhood, memories and hope. Exploring the lonely countryside, we discover clues that help us answer the question of where our home is and how we can reach it. An experience inspired by authors such as John Steinbeck (American writer) and Terrence Malick (director of The Thin Red Line).

The author comments that he is delighted with the idea of giving him support for Oculus Rift, since it is incredible for him to walk through the world he has created, really feeling that he is there. This adds a whole new dimension of possibilities, so it is worth carrying it out as long as the dizziness does not end up taking its toll, since apparently it is prone to them.

The game will be available for PC and MAC, with an expected price of no more than $1.99. You can support the Steam Greenlight campaign on their page.
