To celebrate the 20th anniversary of drum’n’bass musicians Mainframe Recordings, the organizers, together with the Austrian startup BAM Ticketing, are presenting new NFT tickets that can eliminate fake tickets.
Access regulations and benefits via NFT technology
The new NFT tickets also offer the possibility to flexibly define access to events. Benefits and add-ons such as behind the scenes and meet and greets, merchandise packages and audio content are offers that can be digitally marketed via NFT ticket. It is possible to precisely scale temporal access restrictions. Artists and organizers can thus receive more information about the event visitors.
Georg Müller, CEO of BAM Ticketing, says that his project “not only solves well-known problems such as ticket fraud and black market trading”, but also brings “a forward-looking solution for all artists, organizers and cultural institutions on the market”.

The “BAM” in BAM Ticketing stands for the fictional characters “Bob, Alice and Mallory”, who represent well-known figures in communication theory and cryptography. The two founders Georg Müller and Mikro Ilić have therefore written this abbreviation in the startup name. The company has set itself the goal of bringing event tickets into the NFT era.
First use of NFT tickets in Austria
The organizer Mainframe Recordings plays a pioneering role in the use of NFTs in the ticket sector in Austria. “In the future, the NFT tickets will also function as a membership token for lifelong access to new and exclusive mainframe content. With this, Mainframe not only generates a completely new added value for all fans, but also shows how fan engagement can work in the future,” says Daniel Fürst-Zoffel, CEO of Mainframe Recordings.
