DataLine has invested in its first data center more than $7.5 million

Thursday, December 4, the company DataLine announced “the beginning of activities and the provision of services on equipment placement of customers on the basis of its own distributed network of data centers
in Moscow and Moscow region”.

Recall the first time Inline Technologies Group (ITG) announced the formation of project DataLine, based on the provision of services on equipment placement of customers in the data Center, this summer

As it became known IT-Weekly, their interest is to place the equipment in the data center DataLine, showed seven companies. They are expected to occupy about 30% of the area
the centre accommodate up to 350 racks. All customers, according to the DataLine, it is the large organizations, mostly Telecom and media business.

The President of ITG holding, Vladimir Varivoda sure that the data center will eventually be filled “jewelry”, i.e. the customers of the data center will be the only reliable large organizations that have concluded
long-term contracts.
Data centers built using Cisco, APC, Panduit and others. Questions about providing power (5 MVA) should arise. All the necessary
agreement with Mosenergo has already been signed. As for total investment, it amounted to slightly more than $7.5 million.

More exact figures and other details of the project DataLine promises to announce at a press conference on the official launch of the data center into operation.

According to the calculations of ITG and DataLine, the return on investment will start at 40% occupancy of the data center. Fully invest in the project will pay for itself in two years.

In the autumn of next year, ITG expects to finish building another data center. It is located in the Moscow region, in the region of 50-th kilometer of the Minsk highway, and will be the biggest in a network DataLine. It
area of 2700 sq m, the total summed capacity of more than 7 MVA, number of racks – 800.
