FCS intends to join 30 sites IP-VPN network| 07.08.2008
Thursday, August 7, the Federal customs service (FCS) has announced that it is conducting a tender for selection of service provider for the information exchange between the nodes of the FCS of Russia with
using the transport IP-VPN network for 2008.
According to the competitive documentation, the winner of the auction is to be organized on the basis of its backbone data transmission network IP-VPN network FCS. Data transmission in this network should be implemented at the
Protocol MPLS (Multi Protocol Label Switching).
The contractor shall, in particular, to provide the service ports, IP VPN routers for its IP network and also take over the monitoring and management of the main component of IP VPN TCF.
Communication customs (we are talking about 30 objects) must be connected to nodes in the operator’s access channels with a bandwidth of 2 Mbps. with the Exception of the Volga and
Ural customs administration that need to be connected at speeds of 10 Mbps.
The customer wishes to trunk IP network was “built-in system of protection of information in accordance with the requirements of the guidance document of the FSTEC of Russia “Automated systems.
Protection against unauthorized access to information”. The protection of information on the main IP network, class 1 G (RD gostekhkomissii of Russia “Automated systems. Protection

For providing such services the service is ready to pay up to 10 million rubles.
FCS is accepting applications for participation in the contest until 9 September, and the results of trades plans to bring the 23rd of the same month.
