Wednesday, March 2, the company “KORUS Consulting” has announced the completion of the project on automation of the planning system in the network of supermarkets “Azbuka Vkusa” on the basis of free solutions Jedox
Palo.
In 2010, supermarket chain “Azbuka Vkusa” there is a need to improve the efficiency and quality of the current system of medium-and long-term planning.
Dynamic business development, as well as rapidly changing market conditions has identified the main “problem” places the force at the time of the planning system, implemented in an Excel file:
the fragmentation of the original data, the complexity of the process of planning and adjustment of existing plans and conduct scenario analysis.

The project supports the integration with the accounting system of the “Alphabet of Taste” – MS Dynamics NAV. To transfer data between applications using Open Source products – Pentaho Data Integration and
Palo ETL. The accounting system exports the required data for a user-defined period in a file that is then imported in Palo Server, then the user can receive data in any
the incision using the Palo tools for analytical processing of multidimensional data in real time (OLAP). The process of data loading and transformation for the month takes less than 2 minutes.
