The accessory allows us to connect viewers with HDMI and USB to the new connection standard included in the latest NVIDIA cards.

Accell it has announced on the occasion of the CES an adapter that allows you to connect the Oculus Rift viewer or those of Windows MR to the VirtualLink connector that comes included with the new NVIDIA RTX graphics cards. The company does not specify anything about Vive, although it is to be expected that both the standard edition and the Pro (with HDMI adapter) will work as well. The USB-C VR adapter has the official Oculus Ready certification and has the two connectors required by the viewer: HDMI (2.0) and USB (3.0), in addition to the USB-C cable that connects to the graphics card and has a length of 2.44 meters, so it also serves as an extension of the viewer cable.

As they comment, the accessory is compatible with 4K and does not require any additional configuration, beyond connecting the cables in their corresponding places, being in turn compatible with computers with alternative USB-C DisplayPort connection mode.

Accell USB-C VR will be available on January 14 through the website of the manufacturer and other suppliers such as Amazon for $ 49.99.
