Airtable – No-Code in action
Is everyone really a developer? No-Code wants to make it possible, we dare the test with the established Airtable.
Topics in the field of development can always be approached wonderfully via buzzwords: no-code and low-code, visual programming, citizen developer – and if you look further back, you actually end up with the well-known WYSIWYG editor.
Graphical user interfaces have been created for decades by their own designers in or next to IDEs, already in the 90s website layouts were increasingly built with Dreamweaver instead of manual HTML code. Even though it will hardly appear under the keyword No-Code today, it hits the heart of the matter: you don’t have to master any code to build a static website – and even dynamic pages with database connection were possible with Dreamweaver & Co., even for ambitious laymen.
