The creators of the famous IL-2 Sturmovik take a leap in the time of aerial simulation to immerse ourselves in the battles of the First World War with Flying Circus.
According to 777 Studios, Flying Circus Volume One can be considered the spiritual successor of Rise of Flight: The First Great Air War, a title released in 2009 that marked the debut of the company and that planted the foundations of its simulation system. Bringing this era of combat aviation to their Digital Warfare Engine was something that has been on their minds for quite some time and it seems that the time has come to make it happen.
And speaking of reality, this simulator will be fully compatible with current virtual reality devices, like the other titles of the company, so we can enjoy the spectacular cabins of these planes:
- Spad II
- Sopwith Dolphin
- Sopwith Camel
- RAF S. E. 5.a
- Bristol Fighter
- Albatros D.Va
- Fokker Dr. 1
- Fokker D. VII
- Pfalz D. IIIa
- Halberstadt CL.II
Flying Circus Volume One is part of the IL-2 Great Battles saga, and can now be pre-purchased in early access mode on the game’s website for $69.99 (10% discount). You have all the details in this developer blog post.
