The acclaimed zombie game comes next month to PS4 with support for gamepad, Move and the new Aim controller, and all the features that have made this title great.
Vertigo Games and Jaywalkers Interactive have announced that Arizona Sunshine, the acclaimed zombie game, will make its debut in PlayStation VR in June. The game will be available on PS4 and PS4 Pro, and will feature optional support for the new Aim peripheral, which will be released on May 17 with Farpoint.
Arizona Sunshine is a game created exclusively for virtual reality that takes players in the middle of a zombie apocalypse. Explore the southwest of a post-apocalyptic America in a desperate attempt to find other humans, playing in single-player campaign mode or co-op with another friend. In addition, the game includes horde mode for 4 players.
As for the control system, Arizona Sunshine allows us to play with gamepad with two methods: teleportation and classic movement. For a greater immersion the title can be enjoyed with the Aim controller or with the Move controllers, with which we will handle the weapons, equipment and accessories in a real way. Locomotion with Aim will limit us to carrying only one weapon at a time, but we will gain in aiming accuracy. And presumably it allows the same options as with gamepad, since it also has analog sticks for classic movement. And the Move a priori option might only support teleportation, as it has no stick, but they may have implemented a hybrid that automatically advances at the press of a button, style other games.
Arizona Sunshine managed to raise $ 1.4 million in its first month of PC release, and it was a title highly valued by the community. You can read our review to learn more about the game. In the absence of knowing the exact day, Arizona Sunshine will be available for PSVR this coming June.
