BASF and IntelliSense.io announced a partnership, which involves bringing together a wide expertise of companies in areas such as mineral processing, chemical
ore processing and artificial intelligence for the industry.
The joint project “Smart mine” offers integrated solutions based on artificial intelligence, and experiences of BASF in the field of mineral processing and chemistry. The development will improve
efficiency, stability and safety of mining operations.
“Smart mine” is an open platform for decision-making in real-time, which within three months you can customize for individual sites. All the process of mining
(grinding, compaction, flotation and draining of liquid), supported by special application “Optimization as a service” (OaaS) that can predict and model future options, and
also generate recommendations for specific processes for data analysis and optimization. As more applications OaaS are connected to each other, customers can increase the efficiency of the whole
value-added chain.
Remote access to all processes while supporting experts BASF provides transparency of production and financial operations. In addition, an integrated tool for modeling
can be used to test alternative work arrangements, staff training and elaboration of scenarios of “what if” without compromising the integrity of this structure.
Solutions based on artificial intelligence hosted on a hybrid cloud architecture that allows to develop the resources both on-site and in the cloud to help partners in
mining industry to speed up the transition to digital technologies.
