If you like cars, it is very likely that you are a fan of Top Gear, that English show full of humor, you skid luxury models. Unfortunately, the program will disappear, at least for the time being.
BBC cancels Top Gear
By means of a brief press release, the English television network BBC confirmed the putting on pause of Top Gear UK, at least for the foreseeable future. The company assured that although this may disappoint fans, “it’s the right thing to do.” In passing, he thanked Paddy McGuinness, Freddie Flintoff and Chris Harris, the current hosts, and assured that there are still projects involving them.
A short but concise announcement
It was also confirmed that other international projects of Top Gear will not be affected, but only the British version.
Why is Top Gear cancelled?
Paddy McGuinness, Freddie Flintoff and Chris Harris
The show was in the midst of recording its 34th season when Freddie Lintoff had a severe accident last December. Fortunately there were no serious consequences, but from that moment production was stopped and never resumed.
This is not the first time Top Gear has suffered from accidents
This is really the second time Top Gear has suffered problems due to car accidents. The show became popular in the first instance with legendary hosts Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James Ma, but after an incident in 2015, the BBC decided not to renew Clarkson’s contract and went through several presenters before finding the current shortlist.
