The Promodo company conducted a survey among Ukrainian Internet entrepreneurs to find out how they plan to work after the ban by the leading Russian resources.
How was it?
The study revealed that for most companies the most painful was the loss of access to the advertising service “Yandex.Direkt”. 55% of respondents said that they constantly use it in their promotion strategy. Only 9.6% preferred to advertise in social networks “Vkontakte” and fans of “Classmates” were even less – 1.1 percent.
The majority of companies (almost 40%) on advertising in “Yandex.Direct” spends only a small portion of its budget. The number of companies spending on advertising to “Yandex” more than half of its budget, is just over 3%.
But in advertising in “Vkontakte” of the company, as it turned out, invest even less. More than half of the budget it spends about 2% of respondents. The vast majority of expenditures in this case does not exceed 10%. Roughly the same is invested in advertising on Facebook.
How will?
40% of companies surveyed intend to transfer used for advertising in “Yandex.Direct” funds for promotion in Google AdWords. 18% of respondents, however, are not willing to change old habits and will look for ways to continue working with Russian service.
To maintain its presence in “Vkontakte” wants more than 13% of respondents. And 37% of Ukrainian companies plan to move the advertising budget of “Vkontakte” in Facebook.
