From 12. to 16. September 2022, the Blockchain Autumn School will take place at the Blockchain Competence Center of the Mittweida University of Applied Sciences (BCCM). The entire conference will be web-based via zoom.
The very positive response of the last few years has motivated us to set up an Autumn School again this year. All events will be free and online place. We see Blockchain as an important and future-oriented innovation, and want to give everyone the chance to inform themselves about it in a technically sound way.

More than 25 well-known partners such as Siemens, Bosch, IBM, T-Systems, Deutsche Bahn, Lufthansa, EnBW, Volksbank Mittweida, as well as many research institutions, including Fraunhofer FIT, Frankfurt School, UAS Südwestfalen and HTW Dresden, will present their latest applications and research priorities.
The program of the Blockchain Autumn School 2022
With its more than 45 events, the Autumn School focuses on training and further education in the field of blockchain. On the one hand, the lectures and practice units impart basic knowledge. On the other hand, there will be a large number of industry-specific lectures on the topics of energy (on 12.09.), logistics (on 13.09.) and decentralized finance (on 14.09.).
Thursday (15.09.) is all about science and research. In the Scientific Track, selected scientists are allowed to present their approaches and results for discussion and hope for the Best Paper Award.
In addition, BAS2022 offers an exciting supporting program with a virtual panel discussion (15.09.), two digital blockchain meetups (12.09 and 13.09) and a topic session (14.09). The focus here is on topics such as blockchain ecosystems, the European Public Network and the Metaverse.
The week is rounded off by an online innovation forum and the demonstrator day of the blockchain showcase region Mittweida in the workbench 32 (in cooperation with the city of Mittweida). On the one hand, there is the opportunity to discuss and further develop exciting blockchain project ideas. On the other hand, exciting project presentations on innovative blockchain applications from various industries await you.
