Change the time on your srt file

Here is a guide on how to change the time of your srt files, i.e. the file that shows the subtitle of your movies (avi,dvix,xvid,etc.). If it does not fit properly, with this program you can easily change the frame and seconds, etc. The program is called Gaupol and is free.

1. After installing the program, start by clicking “File“- > “Open“and navigate to yours .srt fi.

2. When you open yours .srt file press “Tools” – > “Transform Positions”

3.  Then comes the image below, here you can change when the first subtitle should appear on your movie. In the case below, the first subtitle is 5 sec inside the movie – the last one appears 1 hour and 43 min. later.

4. After making the changes above, be sure to save. This is done by pressing Diskettes!
