The GIFs portal’s creative tool comes to Rift and Lives, offering a virtual environment to create art.

Developer Planet and the portal GIPHY they have released the virtual reality version of GIPHY World, an application with which we can fill virtual worlds with animated stickers, as well as generate personalized GIFs of our creations. This personalized GIF, which is generated with the digital experience assistant, can be uploaded to a web page for everyone to see and share.

GIPHY World VR is inspired by the version of augmented reality that we can download for free for iOS. GIF has become a fairly common resource in our daily online life, and for GIPHY it represents an artistic element, as they demonstrated with the launch of their previous application GIPHY Museum of GIF Art. Therefore, the application allows us to create art in different environments, being these a desert island, a chess room and a cabin in the forest.

For the stickers use the GIPHY API, thus accessing a wide variety of files with which to give free rein to our imagination. All of them have gone through a moderation process to ensure that they are suitable for all ages.

GIPHY World supports Rift and Vive, and is available for free on the Oculus Store and Steam.
