Codemasters has just published Toybox Turbos, a third-person racing game in which we will have to drive tiny vehicles on all kinds of circuits of our day to day life such as tables, desks and lounges. Next month they will release an update to add compatibility with Oculus Rift with two cameras to choose from: one from below and one from above, both in third person.
The announcement has been made by Codemasters itself on its blog, with which it could not be more official. It is the second Codemasters game, after Grid Autosports, to add Oculus Rift compatibility, something worthy of consideration considering that there is not even a commercial version available. It seems that the British company is clear that there are a multitude of enthusiasts who have acquired a DK1 or DK2 and want to make it clear that they are going to support virtual reality from its inception. Let’s see if other so-called great ones are taking note.
