How much are you willing to pay for the complete history of video games? Well, if you are a collector and you have a lot of money, we have a figure that might interest you: €1,000,000.
Kotaku reported a recent and very interesting file that appeared on eBay: an exhaustive and comprehensive collection of practically the entire history of video games, as it includes 2250 consoles, hundreds of games and extra accessories. The sale is being made by the user kariaur, who has 100% rating and who assures that this is a one-of-a-kind collection.
The user started his collection since the 90s and over the years he has made and got rid of some pieces depending on the difficulty or interest in this hobby. However, now he is willing to get rid of a collection with dozens of special edition collectibles and thousands of products, of which 99% are still in his box. In fact, kariaur assures that there are at least 300 one-of-a-kind pieces, which are “impossible to get anywhere else”.
kriaur is asking €984,000 EUR for this collection that collects about 50 years of history, which is equivalent to about $1 MILLION or $20 million. And although the main goal is to sell it to some wealthy collector, he does not refuse to negotiate with museums. The only detail? We only ship to France.
