This year’s edition will be opened by Davide Ricci, the person in charge of Huawei’s Open Source Technology Center. With the entry of the Eclipse Foundation into the project, the NOI Techpark was also involved; in particular in connection with activities related to the challenges of compliance and data protection in the European context.
Based on the personal experiences of speakers and case studies from companies participating in the conference, the developments on the labor market are illustrated; the function of Open Source Program Manager is increasingly filled here. Sustainability will be another central topic; here, too, the NOI Techpark in Bolzano is directly involved.
Parallel to the conference, the now traditional NOI Hackathon SFScon Edition will take place: a digital two-day marathon in which developers, programmers and all interested parties can face challenges from companies and develop open source projects.
The SFScon goes back to an initiative of the Linux User Group Bozen-Bolzano-Bulsan. The event can be attended at NOI Techpark with the Green Pass, alternatively participation in SFSCon 2021 via streaming is an option.
