Diablo IV is being a real success, because its addictive gameplay and hours of content made people enjoy it for hours all over the world. Unfortunately, this success has made it a target of cybercriminal attacks. Today, the servers were pulled down due to a DDoS attack.
In the last few hours, users on social networks began reporting that they could not connect to the Diablo IV servers, which means that they effectively could not play it. In fact, Activision Blizzard itself put a message on Battle.net and on Twitter where he revealed that the origin of the problem is a DDoS attack. You can see them below:

Despite the fact that the situation has improved over the hours, users have taken the opportunity to remember that the game does not have an offline mode. Basically, if there’s anything with the servers, Diablo IV is unplayable, which for a lot of people doesn’t make sense considering the title itself does offer single player matches. So, many have started asking Activision Blizzard to activate this option:

So far, Activision Blizzard has not commented on this, beyond restoring the functioning of its servers. However, the community is becoming more and more critical of this issue: why force people to connect to the Internet to play solo titles?
