The new game from Media Molecule prepares a testing phase for its latest creation, but they confirm that it will not include support for PlayStation VR “in the beginning”.
Media Molecule prepares a new title, exclusive to PS4, which will serve as a creation tool and platform for sharing games. As they did with Little Big Planet, this time there is also a creation mode where we can use the game engine to compose playable experiences to our liking. Although Sony announced that Dreams it would bring support for virtual reality since its launch, now confirm that it is not yet ready for the next beta they are preparing for before the end of the year.
At the moment, the controllers Move, are only integrated for creation modes. Remaining, the playable sequences, reserved for a possible update along with the integration of Playstation VR. It seems to have been delayed to add support to more than one player asymmetrically. One thing that was confirmed, is that multiplayer modes would not be fully present in its official release. Which is only known to be in 2019.
