The Kickstarter campaign of Ethereon, the exploration game for Oculus Rift and Nmble VR, has been canceled when it had not yet reached half of its goal. It seems that its creators have found another way to finance the game, but they have not wanted to forget about those who have supported the campaign.
Us and the rest of the backers have received an email from Innervision Games in which we appreciate our support to your campaign, and we indicate that in this time have had the good fortune of meeting great people and make important contacts, which has decided to cancel the campaign and the game will be funded by other methods, establishing the summer of 2016 your goal. Since this game was being prepared for Nimble VR, and this company has also canceled its Kickstarter campaign after joining Oculus, we wonder if the company founded by Palmer Luckey will have nothing to do with all this.
In any case, those of us who have supported the Kickstarter campaign (241 people) will receive a copy of the game once it is finished, although it will not cost us a penny. It seems to us a gesture worthy of applause on the part of Innervision Games, and we hope that they will keep us informed of the development of this attractive title.
