Facebook Instagram Lead Ads: now both on Facebook and Instagram

Since its launch in early 2016, the ad Target Lead Ads on Facebook has evolved to become one of the most popular of its kind.

The ability to easily get email, name and phone number from interested customers has attracted many advertisers – and because it happens directly on Facebook, it costs just a fraction of previously converting a possible lead.

Now the format has also been launched on LinkedIn, giving new opportunities to work with Lead Ads.

Cheap email subscribers

Facebook ads in the form of Lead Ads and email marketing play great together. You have the opportunity to generate cheap sign-ups down to a few crowns apiece. Subsequently, you can send these emails-preferably in the form of autoresponders – so your possible customers mature in the direction of a sale.

However Facebook converts a potential customer using Lead Ads on Facebook only rarely visits your website afterwards – and Google Analytics therefore does not register Lead Ads and Facebook as the first touchpoint in the journey. Instead, the first email that causes the user to respond and go to the page will be attributed with the first click in the journey.

Keep this in mind when you subsequently evaluate your campaigns to find out what value they have created for you.
