Oracle passes the Code to the Community, but it retains the trademark rights to Java, also references in the future with the new name.
Java Enterprise Edition (JEE) belongs to the story. What has been developed under JEE, is now managed by the Eclipse Foundation as a Jakarta EE more. Oracle of the Open Source Community donated the Code, but wants to retain control over the brand name Java.
