The Spanish company Estudiofuture launches Fusion Wars, its first game already available on Gear VR that puts us at the controls of a futuristic tank in a cooperative battle that will feature crossplay between Rift and Gear VR.
In Fusion Wars we will have to fight against an android threat ruled by the Queen Mother, and for this we will not be alone, since we will be able to coordinate with other players to carry out the best strategy. There will be situations where the best option will be to merge with another tank to become stronger, resulting in one driving the heavy armament turret while the other player drives. Our goal will be to defeat the enemies and recover the energy cores that feed the Queen.
The Estudiofuture title includes 6 different levels and keeps an artistic style similar to Tron. Multiplayer matches are up to 4 players online or on a local network, and it has drop-in and drop-out support to be able to easily join already started games. Cooperative play is a key element of the gameplay in this fast-paced action arcade, the difficulty of which is automatically adapted to ensure challenge and fun, as well as replayability.
The Oculus Rift version is coming soon and will allow crossplay between Gear VR and Rift users, but those users who buy it will already be able to enjoy the Rift version at no additional charge. Fusion Wars will be updated regularly with new content and features, and is now available for €6.99.
