Bethesda, HTC, Vertigo, Ubisoft, Konami, PlayStation and more companies will be present this year to showcase their novelties in the immersive field.
Gamescom, the traditional European event related to the world of gaming, will start tomorrow (August 21) in Cologne (Germany), so Real or Virtual will be present again to bring you all the news related to virtual and augmented reality. This year we will have the opportunity to try out some of the upcoming PC and PSVR releases, as well as some of the hardware devices that aim to change our gaming experience, such as the HTC wireless adapter or the Cybershoes locomotion system.
In terms of games, Bethesda will be showing off his new bet for the RV with Wolfenstein: Cyberpilot, Sony will be present with the final version of Firewall Zero Hour and other titles like Blood & Truth and Astro Bot Rescue Mission, Carbon Studio will have its adaptation to PSVR of The Wizards, Ubisoft will be repeated as the last year with the well-known Transference and Space Junkies, Konami will display the remastered version of Zone of the Enders and Vertigo Games will show your game from puzzles To Fisherman’s Tale, which is developing InnerSpace VR.
Facing the hardware, Vertigo Arcade, together with HTC and Alternate, will show the version for recreational venues of Arizona Sunshine, an experience for 4 players in which users move physically through a wide space thanks to different solutions such as the HTC wireless adapter or the PC backpacks.
As in the previous year, Oculus will not have its own stand as it had been doing until 2016, but will be part of the Facebook stand, where we would like to have expected Rift games such as Stormland or Defector, but we already have confirmation that it will not be so.
We hope to be surprised again this year with some other hardware and game, as it happened to us in the previous edition with the eye tracking of Tobii or the Moss game of Polyarc.
