While we hope that the commercial version of Oculus Rift will allow adapting to the visual problems of each user, there is already a solution to use our exact eye prescription on the DK2. For this we just need some glasses that we don’t mind getting rid of and a 3D printer.

Our colleague Mikett has found in Thingiverse the plans to print this simple yet ingenious adapter that fits into the B lenses of our DK2 and allows to insert some glasses lenses in them, avoiding the problems of introducing complete glasses, which we already know is quite problematic, not to mention how simple it would be to rub the glasses with the lenses of the DK2. Through this invention, we can enjoy a perfect visual correction in the DK2 if our thing is not the contact lenses.
