Many users now start their product search directly in the search mask of Amazon – Google wants to change that.
San Francisco, Dusseldorf The world’s largest online retailer Amazon has to prepare for new competition from an even bigger tech giant. The search engine operator Google apparently wants to attack Amazon in its core business and focus more on online shopping.
In the future, companies will be able to interact with their customers directly via the search engine and the Google Business Messages service. The purchase of products should be possible in one step via Google search, the manager responsible for the area, Bill Ready, announced at a conference on Tuesday.
