After a long time of waiting, Google is ready to reveal the Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro, its new flagships, next October 6th. And to celebrate the event, the company is going to give away… themed fries?

That’s right, the official Google Japan store is holding a curious contest in which 2000 lucky winners will take a box full of themed French fries, stylized as the Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro. As you can see in the image below, there are boxes of different colors / flavors, but they all share the color strip and the circular and oval notches that represent the camera and the cell phone sensors.

Each of the boxes will be filled with potatoes of 4 different flavors, representing the colors in which the devices will be available: snow cheese, hazelnut onion, salted lemon and obsidian pepper; which refer to the colors Snow, Hazelnut, Obsidian and Lemon Ivy. Check out the designs:

The contest will be held from this 13th to the 23rd of September and, unfortunately, it will be exclusive to Japan. If you are interested in participating or know someone who does, you can enter here. The winners will be selected and the shipments will be made in 2 batches: the first at the end of September and the second at the beginning of October.

These french fries are supposed to taste great, but surely many people will not even try them. Considering that there are only 2000 boxes only available in Japan, surely many will keep them as collectibles.
