Facebook’s Artistic Director presents his latest creation destined to be explored through Oculus Quest.
Goro Fujita has published on his YouTube channel a trailer of a future experience for Quest, created entirely in the Quill app, will debut at CTN Animation Expo, and will later be released for the Oculus wireless HMD. The Last Oasis it would place us in a bunker built by the ingenious Ogini Ogrog, in the year 2125, which we will explore to learn more about a man-made natural disaster that has turned the west coast of the United States into an uninhabitable wasteland, and we will discover how this scientist managed to survive.
Oculus already confirmed that the Quill creation tool would not be available for Quest, but we would have the possibility to view jobs created using this tool, called Quillustrations. The Oculus standalone viewer will be available in spring 2019.
