60 Companies start the project
Carlos Leonardo Paguada, the founder of Blockchain Honduras and at the same time representative of the Central American Association of Cryptocurrency Users (Acupcrip), recently told the Honduran press “La Prensa” that it is estimated that up to 60 companies will launch the project.
These companies will then receive intensive training from the Decentralized Academy on the safe use of Bitcoin and blockchain technology.
As La Prensa has reported, it is expected that traders will receive the special points of sale of cryptocurrencies from Coincaex as early as this or next week.
With the introduction of such new initiatives, Honduras is joining a small group of regional states that will allow their citizens to use cryptocurrencies to officially pay for goods and services.
