The Taiwanese company is preparing for next week a conference in which they will announce a new strategic collaboration and new initiatives to build the virtual reality ecosystem.
HTC he has announced Vive Ecosystem Conference 2017, a conference that will take place from Monday, March 27 to Tuesday, March 28 in Shenzhen, China, as published by UploadVR. The company plans to make some new announcements at the event, but they have not given specific details. At 2 a.m. on Monday (Spanish time) the opening speech will start where the Taiwanese company will announce a new strategic collaboration and the latest initiatives to build the global virtual reality ecosystem.
At the moment and just one week before the event, HTC has not announced anything through the usual channels, but it is possible that this week it will do so. The company remains firm in its intention to support the growth of virtual reality, as Antonio Tallón, head of HTC Vive in Spain, told us at our meeting at the recent MWC: “Our fundamental pillars now are: hardware as advanced as possible, help the community with accessories like Vive Tracker that will allow to take the platform to a next level, and support with all kinds of plans like ViveX or VR for impact. The platform is going to continue betting on developers, offering them a place for those contents like Viveport. Those are our fundamental pillars together with Vive Studios to continue generating quality content on our part.”
