IMAX Corporation e IMAX China Holding they have announced the completion of the first phase of a $50 million fund to help finance the creation of at least 25 experiences over the next three years.
One of the reasons why virtual reality has taken off as it has is due to the continuous investment from all over the world, and that is that this time the group IMAX and its partners, including Acer, Enlight Media, The Raine Group, Studio City, will use the funds to direct the productions with their fellow students and Hollywood filmmakers, who supplement their film projects with IMAX, as well as game publishers and other leading content developers.

The initiative will also help provide its upcoming centers IMAX VR the content with its new systems, including the 360-degree cinematic camera that it is currently developing in collaboration with Google for several of the projects.
