Every time the creators of experiences like Senza Penso or Batman Cave make a demo it’s news, and luckily today they have published an impressive new work based on the movie Divergent.
Once again they demonstrate their mastery of Unreal Engine 4, and this time we can enjoy the experience on both Oculus Rift DK2 and Gear VR, and they have also created an app for Cardboard. For this experience they have had the full support of Lionsgate, which allowed them to shoot exclusive scenes with two of the protagonists of the film, Kate Winslet and Mekhi Phifer. You can download the demo on Oculus Share.
It should also be mentioned that Kite & Lightning have gone further, since for this demo they have developed a plugin for Unreal Engine 4 that allows you to use 3D movies in 360º. This plugin will be published, along with its source code, in the coming weeks.
