From the hand of 1C Company and Storm in a Teacup comes ‘Lantern’, which as its name suggests, is about flying through the skies being a lamp, an experience that can be the most relaxing.
Not everything is shooting in virtual reality, an experience can make you feel sadness, joys, feelings and emotions, an experience encompasses much beyond what the images, sound and the worlds to which we travel imply, because when an experience can be everything, at the same time it can be nothing.
We present to you ‘Lantern‘, an indie video game that can make us feel and live that necessary disconnection that every person needs, trying to shake the autumn of blues or simply making us feel the air in a subtle and realistic way. Its colorful environments and the soundtrack offer the opportunity to find inner peace, getting a glimpse of the cheerful atmosphere where our goal will be to cross the skies in the form of a flashlight looking for a much more vivid range of colors.
Lantern it already has support in Oculus Rift and HTC Vive, although we can always enjoy it if we do not have any viewer. You can already find it in the Steam store at a price of 6,99€.
“Once upon a time there was a very sad princess. She felt so wretched and unhappy that everything around her became gray and lifeless, and the whole earth was deprived of color and joy. Our fable begins when a single lonely lantern was lit in a distant village… ”
Be the wind and guide a lantern to the sky, find the message of eternal love, bringing life and color to the world around you. Enjoy four beautiful worlds inspired by East Asia, each with a different theme, nature and architecture next to the alternating luminosities of our lantern, happy lights contrasted throughout these sad, gray and dark lands.
The influence of the flashlight light not only changes the color of the world, but also has other effects, such as lighting other lamps, restoring animals to life, and making windmills start spinning. Success will come once the kingdom is full of color and happiness has returned to earth.
