Too many people think that their laptop, iPad or mobile are disposable devices. If they break, just throw it away and buy something new. But everything can be repaired and almost always it is cheaper than buying a new one.
The disadvantage of repairing your it equipment is, of course, that you have no excuse to buy something new. Because there are constantly new models of both laptops, blackboard computers and mobiles that are so much fatter than the old sled you are dragging around on today.
But if the money is small, it’s to the repairman you have to go. They can repair everything from a black screen on the computer to the endless scratches in the mobile and tablet and to the more serious cases where virtually all the insides have to be replaced.
It was easier in the old days
For today, the electronics are much more integrated. So often it is large parts of the insides that need to be changed. In the old desktop computers it was much easier. Here, each unit sat on a separate card, which could then be replaced if something was wrong with it.
It’s not like that anymore. Today, most of it is collected on the computer motherboard – even on the modern stationary ones, which are basically just an empty box today. So, most often a black screen on the computer means that the entire motherboard needs to be changed because the graphics card has gone on computer.
But it’s still cheaper than having to buy brand new.
Design no obstacle to repair
If you have an expensive designer laptop, an iPad or a mobile phone that is broken, you probably think that they can not be disassembled and repaired at all. But with a skilled repairman like f.ex. Datacity allows them to separate everything from each other-even without it being visible when it is reassembled.
This allows them to get into the ticklish interior and replace the component that has broken, so you can move forward in everyday life without having to buy new.
