Oculus has announced that starting tomorrow the beta of Landfall, a third-person multiplayer strategy game that we can try until Monday, February 6 at 17:00, starts.
Landfall, developed by Force Field and Oculus Studios, is a strategy game with an aerial perspective that was announced in the past Oculus Connect, and that introduces us to a science fiction war in a world mixed between Mad Max and Waterworld. The open beta it will be released tomorrow, February 2 and will be available until Monday, February 6 at 17:00. “With this open beta, we invite you all to try out Landfall and tell us what you think of the game. Part of the Force Field team will also be playing and we would love to hear your opinion. Maybe during the beta we will even fight together or against,” he commented Martin de Ronde, CEO of Force Field.
Landfall takes the battle to several areas simultaneously, with airplanes and all kinds of deadly machines, and the possibility of using the first-person view to move and carry out tasks of covering our team that we can control with the gamepad. The beta will feature 12 different loadouts for soldiers, strider bipedal tanks, competitive and cooperative multiplayer, and a single-player campaign. Landfall will be available in early 2017.
