Localizing translations for GitHub projects using the POEditor software
The POEditor is designed to make it easier to translate software by machine and/or collaboratively – with GitHub integration and free of charge for small to medium-sized projects.
With the POEditor, even small development projects have an opportunity to translate software automatically.
Offering software in only one language is usually a gift of potential – after all, the main work lies in the code; it doesn’t matter if the texts for scripts and graphical interfaces are in German, English or Albanian.
Even Bash offers internal localization options for scripts that appear in the appropriate language depending on the local language setting. The technical implementation runs via human-readable PO and machine-readable MO files in special directories.
