Messenger and windows 7
Here is a guide on how to get Messenger back in the notification area, i.e. down next to your watch, in Windows 7. The Messenger is unfortunately not running properly, it just lies and runs down the taskbar. See instructions below.
1. In the picture you can see what I mean by that, it is lying and running on the taskbar.
2. Right click on the icon “Windows Live Messenger“and press “Features”.
3. Select “Compatible“in the tabs, then click “Run this program in compatiblemode of:“and choose either Vista or XP. I have chosen “Windows Vista (Service Pack 2)”.
4. As you can see below, “Messenger“again and running correctly.
