New virtual reality film festival that celebrates its first edition at the Arts Santa Mónica in Barcelona on February 24 and 25 in order to reward the best national and international short films.
Festival Movistar Barcelona 360 Virtual Reality, organized by Paramotion Films and the Mecal Association, is an initiative awarded by Artsy, Movistar’s patronage platform, which will be structured in several areas: official section, special sessions, showroom, conferences and round tables. A space will be set up to watch the films selected in the competition that will have the name of VR Cinema. The conferences and workshops will provide attendees with the opportunity to learn about the required work from professionals in the sector.
Those interested who want to register their audiovisual works of virtual reality both nationally and internationally can do so until January 31 through this link. The event will feature a space called VR Showroom where any company, school or individual, for free, can sign up to show and promote their services and creations of virtual reality, 360º video, or even augmented reality.
