Spanish users will have to wait to enjoy the new controller for one hand, since its release date is not yet known in Spain.
Oculus has announced the arrival in the United States stores of the new model of Gear VR and of the controller for one hand, which come accompanied by more than 20 launch titles with support for the new controller. The full list of compatible content is available in this section of the Oculus store, in which we find titles such as A Night Sky, Drop Dead and AFFECTED: The Manor, among others. New games and applications will continue to arrive in the coming months, as more than 50 are in development.
The controller allows us to use our hand to aim, drag, pull, rotate, shoot and more actions that will make the contents acquire a greater immersion, despite not having absolute positioning. From now on, in the Oculus store we will see that those compatible titles have an icon in their upper right corner, as well as the name of “Gear VR Controller” in the list of compatible controllers.
The new Gear VR model and controller have a combined cost of $ 129, but there is the possibility of acquiring only the controller, if you already have a viewer, for $ 39. Prices and departure date in Spain have not yet been confirmed by Samsung.
