The arcades of the 80s have an undeniable charm, and virtual reality will allow us to live experiences of our childhood like the one we bring you. New Retro Arcade has functional ARCADE machines, a Gameboy, bowling, darts… everything governed by Unreal Engine 4 to transport us to an era that was forever etched in our memory.
Developed by Digital Cybercherries, new retro arcade allows us to enjoy an authentic retro experience on our Oculus Rift or monitor. The program is free and allows us to play various ARCADE games from the 80s and 90s, in addition to a Gameboy, darts, bowling and others. We can also listen to virtual cassette tapes of the time and retro internet radio stations.
Although the ROMs of the games are not included for legal reasons, the game can download them over the internet automatically. And since this is Unreal Engine 4, it is likely that we will have to adjust the graphic detail to achieve a smooth experience in virtual reality.
